Don’t Give The Business Everything
For those of us who have kids, having them smile at us and assure us that we indeed make them happy means a whole lot to us. I know as a mom, having my son smile at me and hug me is one of the things I look forward to every morning. And so, it is important for me to make sure and find balance.
Many times we find difficulty in creating that balance that ensures that our families are given the special place that they deserve. Between our jobs, or businesses and our loved ones, the latter becomes the casualty. That is a mistake that we should avoid making at all cost.
Sometimes it means just having an ice cream together, playing a board game, rolling around on the bed with your eight year old, coloring a picture, whatever it is, for our kids it will mean the world. If you have your own business, give some of the work to a virtual assistant, so that you can have the time. Don’t let the business take all of you. Reserve some for those precious ones.
