Select these fields

1. If you have not as yet activated your subscribe button you need to go to this about page and click “allow subscribers.”

2. On the left of your profile look for the “Notes” tab and click on it. Then choose “my notes” and then “write a note.” If you don’t see the tab you can always use the search feature at the top to locate it. In the notes you will need to write something compelling to get people to subscribe to your updates.

You can use something like this for your title:

You don’t want to miss out on my public updates click to visit my profile and subscribe.

Or

Get the latest on (blank blank) click here to subscribe and be in the know.

You can use the same text in the body of the note. Publish the note and proceed to the next step.

3. Use this link to go to the profile badge creator on Facebook and select the option to create a new badge. Choose a layout that will work with your website. You will want to include your profile picture, name and latest notes so please check those and save the badge.

Now the badge will instantly update to display your latest notes so if you add new notes that are not related to getting subscribers you will need to delete the old request for subscribers note and add a new one and repeat the steps to update your badge.

4. On the next page that you are directed to after publishing your badge choose the “other” option if you are not using Blogger or Typepad.

Copy the badge’s HTML code and paste it into the part of the website where to want to have the subscription badge displayed. Save and update the site and you will see your badge prominently displayed. When visitors click on the badge they will be taken to your profile where they will see your subscribe button and hopefully subscribe. This badge will be a great way to grow your list of subscribers.
